A Sports Teacher, or Physical Education Teacher is responsible for teaching physical education and sports to school children. Their duties include planning and leading PE lessons, getting students to compete in sporting events and evaluating their performance.

Requirements

  • Graduate /Postgraduate with Drawing and Painting/ Art/ Fine Art (two year - full time) or
  • Teacher with Diploma in Physical Education (two year - full time) 
  • Diplomas must be from a recognized institute.
  • Have good knowledge about proper rules and regulations of Different sports
  • Knowledge about Self Defense 
  • Leadership Qualities
  • Fluency in English language, Urdu and Sindhi

Responsibilities

  • Supervising practical PE lessons, including both indoor and outdoor classes
  • Ensuring that children compete to their ability level and aren’t exposed to unnecessary injury or illness through school sports
  • Motivating school children to take up new sports or athletic pursuits
  • Evaluating the performance of students throughout the school year
  • Training and coaching school sports teams to compete and succeed in nation-wide events
